Meghna Mukerjee, Editor, Private Banker International commented: “The quality and sophistication of the awards nominations this year have been of the highest standards.”
“These are challenging and changing times for the private banking industry: from squeezed margins to shifting customer behaviour to demanding regulatory requirements. These awards recognise those institutions that are best adjusting to the “new normal” at this pivotal time in its evolution. Innovation, flexibility and reliability are the watchwords for best-in-class wealth businesses.”
The winners in the category of Best Discretionary & Advisory Offering 2016 are:
Winner: CREDIT SUISSE AG
Highly Commended: BANK JULIUS BAER
Highly Commended: CROSSINVEST (ASIA) PTE LTD
Rohit Bhuta, CEO of Crossinvest (Asia) Pte Ltd, commented: “This recognition, an unparalleled achievement in its own right, is further strengthened by the fact that we have been judged against, and likened with, many other global banking giants. To be highly commended in this category, along with Bank Julius Baer, and second only to Credit Suisse AG, and against many other global banks, is a proud moment in the history of Crossinvest and is an endorsement to the External Asset Management (EAM) industry.
Christophe Audergon, Managing Director Crossinvest added: “Crossinvest has stood tall and not only rubbed shoulders with the global banking giants, but has also earned the right to walk along with them.”
The PBI Awards are based on a rigorous selection process which starts with nominations from industry professionals, including the readership of PBI. Nominees are then shortlisted and submitted to a panel of judges who decide the finalists in each award category and the overall winner and highly commended.
